Bartender tips

Squeezing the lemon allows to recover only the good juice of the lemon. Squeezing reveals the bitter lemon peel and the essential oil of the lemon. To balance the flavors it is better to squeeze than to pound.

Origins of the cocktail

In 1941, John Martin (a vodka exporter) met Jack Morgan (a Ginger Beer distributor). The two partners combined their products into an original cocktail. The Moscow Mule (based on Vodka) was born. Today, it is adapted with Cachaça, Tequila, Mezcal, or Rum (Jamaican Mule).
