Bartender tips
To smoke your glass, take a cinnamon stick and hold it above a flame (lighter or torch) until it begins to smoke. Place the smoking cinnamon stick in a whisky glass and turn the glass over so that the cinnamon smoke envelops the inside (like a bell). Remove the cinnamon stick after a minute and immediately fill the glass with ice cubes to preserve the smoky aroma.
Origins of the cocktail
The Chenonceau cocktail is named after the famous Château de la Loire, known for the grand banquets of yesteryear where the first cocktails in history were created. The Chenonceau elegantly combines tradition and modernity, featuring Sober Spirits Whisky Bourbon 0.0%.
